Lyme Disease can mimic other illnesses particularly CFIDS and FM. It is imperative to rule out Lyme Disease with the proper tests using specialized labs for Lyme Disease. My wife has been diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2004. For over a decade, the wrong testing protocols (and labs) were used. In addition, other bacteria pathogens like mycoplasma and chlamydia infections can lead to compromised immune systems causing ill health. Today, many doctors ignore the importance of aggressive testing and getting the full overall picture. It has been my experience that many doctors do not like running a lot of tests. As a caregiver as well as the patient (my spouse), we have a right to know what is going in our bodies and I consider all of these pathogens important to rule out regardless of the medical censuses.

Randy Sykes is his wife are a godsend to the Lyme Disease community. They do a lot of work for people suffering with Lyme Disease as well as CFS/FM. This conference is bringing in great speakers:
