"It does not require many words to speak the truth"
- Chief Joseph of Nez Perce
There are still skeptics who believe Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction
Syndrome is not real, they still cling to the "all in your head syndrome". Or, it's bad blood. It's
human nature not to believe something if you cannot see it physically. Well, the good news is a quote from Thomas
Fuller, M.D. 1732, "a
disease known is half cured". Progress in education, public policy and research is occurring a
lot better than ten years ago. Of course, not at the rate I would like it. I believe millions should be poured
into CFIDS research. If not, I don't believe a cure will be available in my lifetime. I also believe CFIDS cases
will increase yearly. The cause or causes are not well understood. I heard everything from alien abductions, biological
warfare pathogens to childhood vaccinations. The gamut is wide open. The debate on what it is will continue until
a cure if found.
My site offers quick and summarized information regarding CFIDS, my own insights and experiences. Feel free to
tell me your story anytime or if you need additional help. You can also sign the new guestbook and
share your story so others know they are not alone.
I dedicate this site to my wife and to all that have CFIDS.
