This site contains information on chronic
fatigue syndrome (CFS). Otherwise, known as chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome (CFIDS). This section at
the bottom of the page is to help in indexing the site throughout the internet. This area is blacked out because
it's not relevant to the site or the reader. It's only indexing material for the internet. However, I'm talking
from my gut and experience's in case anyone is reading this through there edit/view browser.
The illness or disease of CFIDS is often misdiagnosed. Thus, this site was designed by myself to help others diagnosed
or have questions regarding the illness of chronic fatigue syndrome. My second objective is to offer personal insights
living with chronic fatigue syndrome. In a way, developing this site was therapy for me. As a caregiver, it helps
to vent or find some medium as an outlet. My wife was diagnosed with CFIDS in the late 80's. So, you can imagine,
it can be very difficult. The site covers in a summary level: what is CFIDS, how is CFIDS diagnosed, what are the
symptoms, how is CFIDS treated, who gets CFIDS, how many people have CFIDS and the causes of this illness.
One area which is very important are caregivers. Or, potential caregivers. They must understand CFIDS through education
and talking to others who have chronic fatigue syndrome. In order for a relationships or a marriage to survive,
you must take an active role and be prepare to fight this illness. You must also offer support to the love one
who has this dreaded disease.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is another challenge of life. It's not pleasure, it's pain. I wish caregivers to stay
with your love one and prevail. Stay the course.
God speed.
